Leaving, and taking everything with you.
You can erase your Kurashi account and everything in it yourself, at any time. You do not need our permission and you do not need to give a reason. This page explains exactly what goes, and does it.
01Take a copy first
Before you erase anything, download everything we hold as a single file — your profile, your posts and replies, your listings, your enquiries, and the record of your consent. Leaving should not mean losing.
Once erased, we cannot recover it for you. Not with a support request, not the next day — it is genuinely gone.
02What is erased
- —Your sign-in itself — the account stops existing, not just the ability to use it.
- —Your profile: name, interests, language, prefecture, family details.
- —Your contact details, and any residence claim you made.
- —Everything you wrote: board posts and replies, marketplace listings and their replies, digest submissions, event RSVPs, and your invitation records.
03What does not go, and why
Two things survive, and neither of them points at you:
- —One audit line recording that an account was erased. It stores no name, no email, and nothing you wrote. Without it there would be no record that the account ever existed.
- —Any leasing or purchase enquiry you raised, kept as an anonymous business record with your identity removed from it.
04Two ways to do it
Immediately, which cannot be undone. Or on a 30-day timer — your account is scheduled for erasure and you can cancel it any time before the day arrives. If you are not certain, choose the timer.
We ask you to sign in first for the obvious reason — otherwise anyone who knows your email address could erase your account. Signing in takes a six-digit code and no password.
Sign inYou do not need the app, and you do not need a working account, to have your data erased. Write to the person below from the email address you joined with, and ask for erasure. We will confirm your identity, do it, and write back to say it is done.
